The 69th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in May 2025 in the Swiss city of Basel from May 13 to May 17. Last year, the winner was the singer Nemo with “The Code.”
The semifinals are scheduled for May 13 and 15, while the grand final will be on May 17. The event will be held at the St. Jakobshalle arena, which accommodates over 12,000 spectators. However, the dates may be subject to change.
Eurovision 2025: Who Will Represent Ukraine?
Ukraine will participate in the contest, but it is still unclear who will represent the country. A longlist of 20 performers has been announced. The artist who will sing for Ukraine at Eurovision 2025 will be determined after the National Selection.

By the way, the band Ziferblat previously participated in the National Selection in 2024, where they took second place with the song “Place I Call Home.”
After the auditions, up to 9 finalists will be chosen. The tenth finalist will be selected via an online voting ranking among the longlist participants who did not make it to the final. The National Selection final will take place in February 2025, where the winner will be determined by the votes of the jury and the audience.
When Is the Final of the National Selection for Eurovision 2025?
This year, Tina Karol is the producer of the National Selection. She is overseeing the selection of 20 singers who could represent Ukraine.

There are already 9 finalists, who will compete for the win. They were chosen after the auditions. The list includes:

Voting for the tenth participant is now open! Voting will run from January 13 to 17. The final will take place on February 8, 2025.
How to Vote for the National Selection Finalist for Eurovision 2025?
You can vote for the tenth finalist in the “Diya” app. Voting will be open until 10:00 AM on January 17.

Anyone aged 14 and over can participate in the voting. To vote:
- Open the “Diya” app.
- Go to the “Services” section and select “Polls.”
- Cast your vote for one of the 10 candidates vying for the vacant spot in the final.

On January 2, Suspilne conducted a draw among the ten participants competing for the tenth spot in the National Selection final.

Note that the participant TESLENKO was removed from the longlist by the decision of their management.
The poll results will form a ranking. If the winner is unable to participate in the final for any valid reason, the next candidate, based on the number of votes, will take their place. The full list of finalists will be announced no later than January 17.
